Conducted by the "Plos-One" journal, it reveals that excessive workplace stress has a harmful effect on critical DNA cells. Researchers measured the length of these DNA sections, called telomeres, and found that individuals with the most job stress had the shortest. On the other hand, those who said they experienced little to no stress or exhaustion from their job had longer telomeres.
