“My name is Megan Watkins, in May of 2011, I was diagnosed with Grade 4 Gliobastoma brain cancer. Through extensive research we have found an extremely promising treatment at The Rubio Cancer Treatment Center. The Rubio Center has astounding recovery rates. I have already begun treatment, and my initial 5 weeks at The Rubio Center were wonderful. In fact, the immediate results were almost unbelievable. The feeling in my left hand has started coming back and the involuntary shaking has ceased. Also, my night tremors are nearly nonexistent now. My overall feeling of health is much better, and the extreme nausea has diminished! The only unfortunate thing is that our insurance does not cover the cost of treatment. We have utilized all of our financial resources.

So I am reaching out to you, my community. We need help to ensure that I will be able to continue treatment. I still have so much give, and so much to do. I desperately want to get back to being the healthy teenager that I once was! I want to pursue my dream of one day working in the medical field – maybe as a Registered Nurse or even a Doctor! With your help, I hope to win this battle and return to school as soon as I start feeling better! There are few words that I can use to explain how grateful I am for your help. I thank you all, graciously, for your prayers, thoughts and most generous donations.”
