A study by Spanish researchers finds women who walk for at least three and-a-half hours a week have a lower stroke risk. The survey showed that risk was lower compared to not only inactive women, but those who cycled and did other forms of high-intensity workouts for less time. The women who were consistent walkers were 43% less likely to have a stroke than those who weren't active. The study is published in the journal "Stroke."
