We may live in the south and love the south, but we'd better beware of some of the southern food. A new study shows that foods attributed to the south are heavily fried. Also processed meats, hot dogs, bacon, ham, liver, and gizzards are responsible for more strokes than anywhere else in the country. Sugary drinks, including soda and sweet tea are also factors that have lead researchers to call the southeast the "Stroke Belt". The study was done by the University of Alabama.
