A new study shows that bee venom can kill the virus that causes AID. Researchers at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis have shown that a toxin in bee venom can destroy HIV. The finding can lead to the development of a gel to prevent the spread of HIV and, possibly, an intravenous treatment for people already infected with the virus. The study was published in the journal "Antiviral Therapy."
