Bill Would Allow Emergency Allergy Injections


Parents of kids with allergies know what EpiPens are and how the epinephrine injection could save a life if a child has an allergic reaction to a food or insect bite. Now the Florida legislature is considering a bill that would allow schools to have their own supply of EpiPens with trained school workers who would be able to administer the shots. The bill would also protect schools from lawsuits if a child was injured by use of the emergency injector.
