A new survey finds prescription drug use among teenagers is growing. It shows that one in four teens has misused or abused a prescription drug at least once in their lifetime. That's a 33% increase since 2008. The partnership attitude tracking study also found that one in eight teens say they've taken prescription stimulants such as Ritalin or Adderrall when it was not prescribed for them, at least once in their lifetime. Its been determined that lax attitudes and beliefs by parents and caregivers are contributing factors trend in teen medicine abuse.
