Eating healthier could do your body good if you have type 2 diabetes. Researchers from MCMaster University in Ontario, Canada looked at thousands of people with Type 2 diabetes in 40 different countries. Those who ate more fruits and vegetables instead of fried and high fat foods had a lower risk of developing of advancing chronic kidney disease. They also had a lower risk of death. The study can be found in the "Journal of the American Medical Association, Internal Medicine."
