UN Agency Links Air Pollution To Cancer


A UN Agency is linking outdoor air pollution to cancer. The world health Organization cancer agency says the air is filled with cancer-causing substances and should be classified as carcinogenic to humans. It cites data that shows 223 thousand deaths from lung cancer around the world resulted from air pollution in 2010. It also makes a case that air pollution heightens the risk of bladder cancer.
