Liver Damage Toed To Dietary Supplements On Rise


Severe cases of liver damage in people taking dietary supplements are rising sharply. The New York Times says a national group of liver specialist did an analysis that shows dietary supplements now account for almost 20 % of the drug related liver injuries treated in hospitals. That figure was seven % a decade ago. Supplements claiming to burn fat or speed up weight loss are some of the worst culprits. The researchers sat a number of severs liver cases from 2010 to 2012 involved young me who became sick from using body building supplements.
