Anti-Cancer Drug Can Detect HIV, Researchers Say


A drug used to treat cancer makes it possible to detect the virus that causes AIDS sooner. The Danish researchers who made the discovery say it opens the way for a vaccine to strengthen the immune system's ability to fight HIV. Researchers presented their findings at the international AIDS conference in Melbourne, Australia.
