Burt Reynolds Wants to Live to Be 199
To put it bluntly: "I was a heart attack waiting to happen," Burt Reynolds told PEOPLE Friday night. The 74-year-old Evening Shade and Smokey and the Bandit actor looks great, "feels fabulous" and wants to" live to be 199" after undergoing quintuple bypass surgery in March, he said before receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award for 50 years of film, TV and theatrical work by the Palm Beach International Film Festival. "My doctor said I needed to undergo bypass surgery immediately," Reynolds, who lives in south Florida, explained, admitting that he had no idea that his arteries were closed when he went to his doctor for a physical. "I went home and shaved then had the operation the next day." Five days later he was out of the hospital and exercising. But he had to miss the opening of A Bunch of Amateurs, a comedy he made two years ago in England where he plays a sleazy Hollywood agent. "I was in the hospital when it opened over there," he says. "I was sorry to have missed that, but I am happy that I am still alive to talk about it!" For more information, visit people.com.

Sarah Jessica Parker’s Stylish New Gig: Museum Tour Guide!
First Halston came knocking on her door, and now New York’s world-famous Metropolitan Museum of Art is recruiting Sarah Jessica Parker for her style expertise. The museum has asked the tastemaker to record an audio guide for their Costume Institute’s annual fashion exhibit, reports WWD. And with 2010′s theme being “American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity,” Sarah Jessica seems a natural choice. “Because of Sex and the City, she is so much associated with New York and with America, and with using fashion as a way to shape identity,” says Andrew Bolton, the institute’s curator, of choosing their new virtual tour guide. The new exhibit, which will explore perceptions of the American woman from the 1890s to the 1940s, will open on May 5. Fore more information, visit people.com.

Jennifer Lopez Achieves ‘Total Happiness’ As a Working Mom
The lines between work and motherhood were blurred — in the best possible way — for Jennifer Lopez while shooting The Back-up Plan, in which she plays an expectant mom. “It’s a balancing act,” she told PEOPLE at the film’s Hollywood premiere. “I wouldn’t say it was tough.” In fact, the singer and actress goes on to reveal that one of the best days of her life occurred while twins Emme Maribel, and Maximilian David, 2, visited her on set. “I was working and my whole life was merging together, and it was just total happiness for me, a real feeling of wholeness,” she explains. Having recently become a mother offscreen informed the role. “I had just gotten over my pregnancy myself so it was fresh in my mind. I knew all the good and terrible things that go into being pregnant,” Lopez, 40, says. “It’s such an emotional ride, such a romantic time and there’s so many beautiful things or funny things that happen. You look back and think, ‘Did I cry over that?’” The twins “do everything,” according to Lopez, and just like their multi-talented mom Max and Emme aren’t limiting their interests. “They sing, they dance, they ...

Oprah Winfrey Responds to 'So-Called Biography'
Oprah Winfrey made her first public remarks about Kitty Kelly's controversial new book about her, deriding it as a "so-called biography." Winfrey spoke Monday at The New York Women in Communications Matrix Awards, where she presented an award to pal Gayle King. Winfrey skipped the red carpet but wasted no time when she took the stage bashing Kelly's book, which includes reports the daytime diva abused drugs and questions the extent of Winfrey's longtime claim of being sexually abused as a child. Winfrey described King as a friend who "sometimes cares about my life more than I do," and told the audience last week "was a rough one" for King when a "so-called biography came out." "Gayle got herself worked out with all my new daddies coming out," said Winfrey of Kelly's claims in the book that Vernon Winfrey is not her biological father. While the audience responded with loud applause, Winfrey smiled and concluded, "This, too, shall pass." Praising King before presenting her with her award, Winfrey thanked her longtime confidante for teaching her "what true love really is." Winfrey described King as "her best friend who always wants the best for me" adding, "She's never been jealous or ...

Daniel Radcliffe to Kick Up His Heels on Broadway
This time he gets to keep his clothes on – in Mad Men-era Brooks Brothers-style suits. But the big challenge: singing and dancing. Daniel Radcliffe, who last year pranced on the Great White Way in his birthday suit for the stark drama Equus, will take the lead in a new revival of the 1961 Pulitzer Prize-winning musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, to open in spring 2011, its producers have announced. By then, the Harry Potter star will be the ripe old age of 21. The 50-year-old show, which originally starred Robert Morse (who now plays the senior ad agency owner on Mad Men) and was revived in 1995 with Matthew Broderick, concerns J. Pierrepont Finch, a fiercely ambitious young man who rises from the mailroom to the upper echelons of the World-Wide Wicket Company. He also finds love on his way up – and down – the corporate ladder. Frank Loesser (Guys and Dolls, The Most Happy Fella) did the classic score, which includes the standard "I Believe in You" – and which Finch sings to himself, in the executive men's room's mirror. Is Divorce Looming for Tiger Woods?
He's gone to rehab and resumed his golf career, but Tiger Woods's marriage is as wobbly as ever, sources tell PEOPLE. His wife Elin Nordegren skipped the golf star’s big comeback at the Masters and was described as disgusted and outraged by his Nike commercial featuring a voiceover by his late father. After Woods finished the tournament, coming in fourth, Nordegren flew out of Florida without her husband and their two children – they were left with nannies – for a destination unknown, friends say. "Elin was violently angry over this commercial and thought it was a cheesy thing to do," one friend tells PEOPLE. "She wouldn't have gone near the Masters under any condition, but that just made her madder. She is over Tiger. I wouldn't be surprised if she files for divorce sometime soon." So far, though, it's only been talk among friends. No legal papers have been filed, and it hasn't even been confirmed that she's retained a divorce attorney. Still, another friend says Nordegren has run out of patience with Woods, taking offense with his return to golf – she had been led to believe he was going to take more time off. (On Wednesday morning ...

Kitty Kelley Biography Explores Oprah Winfrey's 'Secrets'
In her latest unauthorized celebrity biography, Kitty Kelley takes on Oprah Winfrey, and aims to shed some light on a woman who is hugely famous and powerful but who Kelley says keeps much of her real self hidden from view. "There are so many secrets in her life," Kelley, 68, said Monday on NBC's Today show. "Secrets about her relationship, secrets within her family." Kelley was unable to talk to Winfrey, 56, for the book but scoured countless interviews the talk-show queen has given through the years, and also quotes friends, family members and employees – some on the record, others not – to get a glimpse inside Winfrey's closely guarded world. Among the more personal topics Kelley attempts to address: whether Winfrey is gay, and the extent of the sexual abuse she suffered as a girl. On the issue of whether Winfrey and best friend Gayle King are lesbian partners, Kelley concludes there is "no foundation for the rumors of a lesbian relationship." But in excerpts published by USA Today, Kelley quotes Rosie O'Donnell (from a 2009 Howard Stern interview) saying Winfrey and King are the "emotional equivalent of a gay couple," and author Erica Jong saying, "I would ...
